Folasade is a film and television editor with a wide range of experience and credits working in both the UK and abroad. She has edited feature films, television drama and documentaries. Her career in film started as freelance assistant editor in feature films. She has worked extensively across picture, sound and the special visual effects departments with Thames Television, BBC and on independent feature films.
Directors she has worked with have praised her editorial abilities with script, structure and the unique perspective she brings to narrative through editing. As an editor her feature credits include Loop, starring Andy Serkis, Welcome To Sarajevo, as a Lightworks operator and Boogie Woogie as associate editor. Television credits include Casualty, EastEnders, The Bill and Living It (a critically acclaimed series for CBBC). Her documentary credits include The Life and Times of Kirsty Maccoll and The Kings of Comedy. She has worked in Nigeria and South Africa on the ground-breaking drama series Wetin Dey and music documentary Kwaito, charting the rise of the music art form in South Africa.
